The Sigma 6‑16KS delivers precise separation results in all cases, whether blood pouches, petroleum flasks, microtiter and deepwell plates, or tubes and flasks from 0.2 ml to 1,000 ml.
It is widely used in microbiology and molecular biology, pharmaceutics, genomics, clinical diagnostics, bioproduction, cell culture labs and transfusion facilities. A total of twelve fixed-angle and six swing-out rotors are available, along with numerous buckets and adapters – including many biosafe configurations.

The Sigma 6‑16KS features a clearly organised display. The patented Spincontrol S one-knob controller provides superior operating convenience and process reliability. Optimisation of separation runs and yields is supported by 60 programmes with the option of making user-specific settings, as well as 30 profiles for use as acceleration or braking curves. Custom person-specific settings can be saved with password-protected access control. An extremely practical feature is the large program status display, visible from a distance, with a progress bar.
